Joseph Alamat, DDS, MD graduated from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry in 1995. He completed his Medical Degree at Wayne State University in 1998 as part of a 6-year residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Sinai Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Alamat practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and lectures on the medical aspects of dentistry. He is currently at Summit Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a course co-director at the University of Detroit Mercy. He has hospital privileges at Troy Beaumont and St. John Macomb Hospital. Dr. Alamat is certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
