Are you ready to treat your patients as they age? The 60’s are the new 40’s, so learn the diverse communication needs of this unique group of patients, including the frail or infirm elderly. Explore techniques to communicate most effectively with them.

Speaker:
Palma C. Baker, M.A., CCC/SLP is an adjunct faculty member of Macomb, Baker and Davenport Colleges. She is an instructor for the operational effectiveness division of St. John Health Institute teaching customer service, performance improvement, and multicultural diversity.
Andrew Madak, DO, is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is a graduate of Michigan State University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is on staff at Crittenton Hospital, Rochester and William Beaumont Hospital, Troy. Dr. Madak is also an Associate Professor at Oakland University School of Health sciences. He specializes in preventive medicine and travel medicine. Along with his wife, Dea Madak, he seeks to use a holistic approach along with traditional medicine. Together, through the Center of Holistic Health and Natural Wellness, Dr. Madak's solopractice, they seek to improve the quality of a person's health through healthy lifestyle changes.
