Welcome to RDH Health Services' continuing dental education program. We know that you are committed to the profession of dentistry and are seeking courses that will add a dimension to your delivery of patient care. We are dedicated to the belief that lifelong learning contributes to fulfillment and positive career changes. This selection of courses will offer you the opportunity to learn a new skill, refine a technique, or reinforce a current practice.
The objective in planning for our workshops and seminars is to offer a wide variety of classes for the entire dental team. We have divided our courses into categories that should make it easy for you to choose workshops and seminars that fulfill your particular needs.

Licensing and Certification Renewal Requirements
The State of Michigan Board of Dentistry requires:
- Dentists: not less than 60 hours of continuing education
- Hygienists: not less than 36 hours of continuing education
- Registered Assistants: not less than 36 hours of continuing education
- All licensed professionals must have a current certification in CPR
- All assistants must successfully complete a dental radiography course
The Dental Assisting National Board requires:
- Not less than 12 credit hours per year
- All certified assistants must have a current certification in CPR
In-Office Training & Consulting Services
One of the unique training opportunities that RDH Health Services offers is the opportunity to schedule individualized training based on your needs. If you would like a specific training program for your office, please contact us so that we can assist you with the course planning. Certain courses are already designed for in-office training and can be found in this brochure. We also offer training and consulting in: team building, communication, hiring and performance assessments, and marketing.
OSHA Training Requirements
It is federally mandated that all employees attend an annual safety and hazard training program. All employees must have training for the HIPAA privacy notice and handling patient's personal health information.
Accreditation
RDH Health Services, Inc. is an approved Academy of General Dentistry/State of Michigan sponsor for continuing education. The programs are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership credit.
Refunds
We recognize that registrants may need to withdraw from a previously scheduled course. Notification of withdrawal received five days prior to the course will be accommodated. A credit voucher for a future RDH Health Services course will be issued. No cash or credit refunds will be offered.
Confirmation
Registration with payment must be received to reserve space in the course. RDH will contact you in case of scheduling changes. An email confirmation is available upon request. Please include an email address on the registration form. Contact our office for additional information.
